Westgate Cottage is a four bedroom, 17th Century stone built self-catering holiday cottage in St Lawrence, (near Ventor) at the Southernmost tip of the Isle of Wight, that sleeps 8 people.
This stunning and unique rental property is in a very quiet area just outside Ventnor in an officially recognised Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
The cottage itself is a converted 17th century former stables and coach house used in the past by, among other visitors, Queen Victoria as a staging post around the island
The property is in a ‘U’ shape with a large cast-iron gate and high wall at the end of the garden making the cottage extremely private, quiet and safe for children and pets
Besides the large 40″ flat-screen TV and Sky box in the newly refurbished lounge, within the 4 bedrooms, there are TVs and Satellite boxes. The TVs have inbuilt DVD players and can also play media from USB devices or from other input such as games consoles
Wi-Fi is also available. The wireless router and the instructions for connecting to the internet are clearly shown
